Colours!

Januarys inspiration of the month is colours! Choose a colour you are drawn to. Write a two minute piece of music that you feel expresses that colour. Think about:

• How does the colour make you feel? Happy, sad, angry or peaceful?

• Does the colour remind you of anything? This could be nature, a memory, or an object?

• What might different shades of that colour sound like?

• Which instrument may represent your colour the most?

Bonus Task! If you are feeling adventurous, think about combining different colours and creating a piece that explores a variety of colours and how these might link musically.
