Nature!

Marches inspiration of the month is nature! Explore what part of nature inspires you? Is it water, flowers, trees or something else? Write a piece of music that is inspired by a part of nature that you enjoy. Think about:

• The feeling you get when you explore your area of nature.

• How does your inspiration naturally move? Is it completely still or does it sway? Are the movements slow, fast, gentle or powerful? How will your music reflect this?

• What might the colours in inspiration effect your music? Are the colours dark and mysterious or bright and light?

• Which instrument may represent your inspiration best? Will the instrument need to have a high or low range?

Bonus Task! If you are feeling outdoorsy, go outside and find some nature related inspiration for yourself! This could be in a local park or a field close by. Take note of the natural sounds, smells and textures that are around you. How may this be reflected in your own piece?
